EXHIBITION OF ALBRECHT DURER IN THE HERMITAGE (UNTIL MARCH, 28)
The exhibition of Albrecht Dürer, dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the artist’s birth, continues its work in the Hermitage.
The exposition of works by one of the greatest masters of the Renaissance, which presents more than 400 canvases, is located in the Nicholas Hall of the Winter Palace. The basis of the exhibition are engravings, woodcuts and monumental engraving. In addition, there are portraits painted by Dürer, sketches of church stained-glass windows, sketches for engravings and studies for a painted altar.
The anniversary exhibition will run in the Hermitage until March, 28.
