EXPO 2030 IN MOSCOW
Moscow was included in the final list of candidates for the world exhibition EXPO 2030 (https://expo2030moscow.com/en/). The theme of Russian exhibition is «HUMAN PROGRESS: SHARED VISION FOR A WORLD OF HARMONY».
EXPO is the only global event that has never been held in the capital of Russia. Now Moscow will compete with Rome (Italy), Busan (South Korea), Odessa (Ukraine) and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) for the right to arrange this exhibition.
The history of EXPO goes back over 200 years. It all started in France – in the 19th century the latest achievements of science and technology were demonstrated during national exhibitions. Old World countries decided to go beyond one state and make EXPO an international event for global experience exchange. Each exhibition was planned to last for six months.
Until March, 31 EXPO 2020, the opening of which was postponed for one year due to the pandemic, continues its work in Dubai, meeting thousands of new visitors every day.
