RUSSIA PLANS TO RESUME INTERNATIONAL AIR TRAVEL ON JULY 15

Russia seeks to open borders to the foreign visitors and plans to resume international flights from July 15. The country’s Federal Air Transport Agencystates that flights to and from Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Europe would likely be the first to resume.  

Partial opening of international flights from July 15 will start with 8 countries of the EAEU and CIS. Later on, the flights to Europe, the Middle East, and 7 countries of Southeast Asia will be resumed from August 1.

All domestic flights are to be resumed in June.

MOSCOW TO LIFT RESTRICTIONS

Moscow ends its self-isolation orders on June 9. Hairdressers, beauty salons, veterinary clinics, employment agencies, public organizations, and film studios will resume to work the usual way. Theatrical, concert and other creative groups will be able to resume rehearsals.

From June 16, summer verandas of restaurants and cafes will start working. Museums and zoos will be waiting for the first visitors. Sport events will be held with no more than 10% of the visitors’ capacity.

Gyms, swimming pools, public sports and recreation facilities will start functioning from June 23. Indoor dining and river cruises will be possible.

Residents are still required to wear masks and gloves outdoors and in public buildings. They are also still advised to maintain a 1.5-meter distance from others at all times.
